A 6-story apartment block proposed for the Foodworks at 231 St Georges Rd is currently under consideration, despite the fact that 309 residents objected. Darebin planners recommend approving the proposal despite the fact that it fails to meet criteria including proximity to a railway station or activity centre. Time for council to sort the height limit issue and overshadowing.
